Our Weekend and 30 weeks

Friday night date night we decided to go ice skating. We figured if I went slow and didn't fall it would be ok. I have been ice skating before and never been as nervous as I was on Friday. I thinkit's because I am pregnant and I didn't want to take any chance. So I went super slow and we only went around a few times, oh and the ice was pretty choppy. That didn't help. It was fun I was just very nervous, so i couldn't pull off my triple axle that I usually could :) Maybe after the baby comes we will try again. I made Aaron hold on to me the whole time except for a few minutes when I let him enjoy himself and I stood in one place and took the pictures!

This is me trying to stay stable. i didn't really like the skates they gave me either they seemed really flimsy and hurt my ankles.

It was cute though while we were there this guy was skating back and forth with flowers in his hand so Aaron asked him if he was going to propose and he said he was. We waited to watch this. It was cute. They videotaped it and he even got on one knee on the ice.... I'm assuming she said yes because he put the ring on her finger and then she kissed him... How cute. So congrats to them!

On Saturday we went swimming at Rockland Apartments. The water felt so nice and it was relaxing. I really just sat on the stairs but the water was great. It's what i needed. Then we went to a basketball game with Brent and Janeen and out to applebee's. It was pretty fun.I just didnt get any pictures.

So here I am 30 weeks today!!! Only 10 to go! Maybe less! We are getting very excited if you can't tell!!!! Anyways Braxton is still moving aorund a ton. Aaron thinks he is going to come out walking. I say I don't think so! I have been doing pretty good as well. I do have heartburn occasionally and sometimes can't sleep very well. Sundays are the worst though. I am ok the rest of the week but as soon as we get into sacrament meeting I get so hot and dizzy and feel like i could pass out. This lasts all of sacrament meeting, it is so tempting to just go home but I know I need to stay, so i go stand outside or walk around for a minute. Aaron thinks I am crazy because he isn't that hot and I am sitting there fanning myself the whole time. We are going to look into purchasing a personal fan for me maybe at the dollar store or something. It is just ridiculous!!!

So there it is our weekend in a nutshell. Now we are off to watch the Super Bowl at Stefani and Travis' house! Have a great week!!

We are still trying to get things kinda organized but it is hard since we will be moving out again in like 9 weeks. So it is what it is!

A day of Excitement

So about a week ago Aaron and I decided that we would buy or stroller/ car seat combo. So we went to Walmart.com and picked it out. It took about a week of waiting to get it but it finally came yesterday. I was so excited when Aaron looked out the window and said that Fed Ex was here!!! I haven't seen a box this big in awhile! But hey it will do great things when it comes to packing again in like 9 weeks! Our time here is flying by.

I absolutely LOVE IT! I really liked it from the pictures we could see on the internet but once it got here I fell more in love with it. I just can't believe it's goign to be "our" baby in there.

We decided on this one because it will be good for a boy or girl. Although we already know this one is a boy we hope to keep it through at least the next one whenever that is. It was like Christmas all over again when we were setting this up, and I think Aaron thinks it is a toy for him. He was pusking a stuffed bear around and grinding the wheels on the little coffee table. I wish I would have gotten a picture of that! Anywyas we just can't wait for Braxton to come. I have another Dr. Appt on Monday so we'll see if everything is going good. So far it has and I am grateful for an easy pregnancy with the occasional sick moments..

Also our friends Travis and Stefani came over because they were in town for a little bit so Travis could work. Their daughter Brooklynn is in love with my husband i think. She goes straight to him when she comes over. They play Don't spill the Beans together( thank you Lindsey) and they have so much fun with it. She also is a cuddle bug with him. He was laying on the couch with her and she was just right therelaying on him.. lol she is such a cutie but i better watch out for her. Aaron also said she is a couch hog!

I also have an old chinese hat i won from school and it is in our DI box but Brooklynn finds it and Aaron spins it on the kitchen flooor for her and she loves it! We wanted to get her laugh on tape. Here it is a little but i think the video camera made her a little nervous!

Boredom!

So yes, there are times up here in Rexburg where we get just a little bored. It doesn't happen often... lol... but it does happen. Anyways we do play a lot of Super Mario Brothers 3. In fact we've beat the game twice now! Or we watch movies. But sometimes Aaron gets on this kick of where he wants to draw on my leg or arm, or he wants me to draw on his because it feels good and tickles.. He is silly. He is quite artistic though because he drew Mario on my leg.. just a little misproportioned!! I had no idea what to drawso aaron said " Draw a 2o (becasue that is his favorite number) and me playing basketball." So I put my artistic ability to work and this is what I came up with.. oh and I was craving Arby's that day so I drew me in the crowd with the Arby's hat on and it says I'm craving Arby's and i also drew one on Aaron's head. And guess what... it worked!!! We had a little date night at Arby's that night. SO i guess next time i want something i 'll just draw it on his leg!!!
