39 weeks

I thought it would be fun to compare belly pics since
(hopefully)

Colton will come any day.

I know I'm not due until Monday

but it would be nice if he came this weekend.

As a Christmas Surprise.

Well anyways here I am 39 weeks pregnant with Braxton.

He ended up being born at 41 weeks.

And Here I am as of Tuesday.

39 weeks along with Colton.

Colton definitely sticks out more, and he is lower then Braxton was at this point.

I am really hoping Colton decides to come on his own and I won't have to be induced again. I have my next doc appt on Tuesday if he isn't here, and that's when we'll discuss wether to induce or continue waiting....

So please Colton make an appearance soon.

We can't wait to meet you.

We've Been Busy...

I just noticed I already posted about Halloween so sorry about the repeated pictures.

One of my Best Friends from High School came and stayed the weekend with us. We had so much fun, we went to the riverwalk and the alamo, did some shopping, made some cookies, and had some good "girl time". I am so glad Aaron is such a good sport and took care of Brax so I could go have some fun!While Jenna was here we took some maternity pictures.

And I LOVE how they turned out.

Aaron is now 26 and i am 23.

We don't have pictures of my birthday becasue I was still in my pajamas when I opened my gifts, but for Aaron's birthday they decorated his cubicle at work and Braxton and I surprised him at lunch time with a little surprise party and cake!

It was a blast.

Christmas is coming in less than a month so I was anxious to get our tree up.

Believe it or not this is our first year with our own tree,

the years before we lived with his sister and my parents.

So it was fun for us to be able to decorate our own place, and have Brax help us.

Our little tree is perfect for our apartment.

After we got it set up we told Braxton he could look but not touch so sometimes he gets really close to the tree and says "pretty". But he doesn't touch it.As for Baby news.... I will be 36 weeks tomorrow!

1st we got a Big surprise in the mail...

The people Aaron work with all got together and sent this and our other surprise to us for our Baby gifts.

We are sooooo very grateful that we have been so blessed.

Braxton again was a BIG helper!

And now it is his favorite thing to sit in the rocker and read!

Our 2nd Surprise came later that week!

A Toddler bed for Brax!

So after we got everything set up I spent a few days trying to get everything in place

because you never know when Colton will decide to show up.

My other project this week was turning this goodwill dresser ...into THIS!!!

I love how it turned out.

Colton moves around all the time, gives me heartburn pretty bad at night, kicks me in the ribs, makes it hard to breathe.... so on and so on.

BUT I love every second of it!

We are sooo excited to meet him and have Braxton be a big brother.

We are trying to enjoy this next little bit with Braxton before he is no longer an only child.

It has been weird to think that we will have 2 boys soon, but like i said we are so excited!

Wish us luck.

We'll keep you updated more often because we also got ourselves a good working computer on Black Friday, so i am hoping I will be better at blogging.

Pumpkin Patch and Baby Update

We needed an updated family pic! On Saturday we went to a place called Devine Acres Farm,
there was so much to do, hayrides, farm animals, pumpkin painting, duck races, catch and release fishing... and plenty more. When we got there Braxton ran straight for the animals.
We also did a hayride, had a picnic, painted a pumpkin, and did some duck races.
That was when i noticed i had a huge hole in my pants so we had to cut the day short, but we enjoyed our time there.

I am now 30 weeks along in my pregnancy!

We have decided on the name

Colton Derrill Nebeker
When we ask Braxton where Colton is he says
"Cole Que" and points to my belly.
He loves to kiss him and we've tried to have him feel him move a couple of times.

I think Braxton is going to be a great Big Brother.
We are so excited and hope these next 2 months go by fast!

Weather Update: I have my windows open today and there is a nice breeze coming through.
Today is the first time i have worn a long sleeve shirt, and our house feels great,
it's even a little chilly! I love it!
Of course it's only going to last for like 2 days and then the rest of the week will be in the 80's again but then next week we should feel this kind of weather again. I swear it's crazy.


We still miss home a lot, but we are grateful we have made such good friends that help us keep our minds occupied down here. We have decided we are just going to enjoy this moment in our lives and it too shall pass.. lol

and I am soooo grateful for Skype!

Just a quick update

Braxton and I had a little photoshoot today, didn't last too long because Belle came in and made him laugh, so he got up and chased her around the house! Speaking of Belle.... One Saturday we went out on a desk hunt (for my craft room) and when we returned Aaron says to me " She has her head in a bag... yeah she's caught" My first initial thought was that somehow she had got a walmart bag on her head and had suffocated. Well i came around the back of the couch and found this:
She had gotten on the back of the couch and got the bag of marshmallows off the counter. She knew she was in trouble because she started cowering and running towards the door. Funniest thing I have ever seen.

Aaron and our friend Blake drove to Austin this last weekend to go to the BYU game.
While they were gone Braxton and I went to Blake's house and hung out with his wife Sara and his daughter Olivia who is just a few months older then Braxton. It is so much fun having people who have the same age kids around here.

Well Another weekend is here,
Aaron and Braxton are watching the BSU game right now.
I think Braxton is either getting his tooth or getting sick he has been pretty touchy today with a snotty nose and his left eye gets watery.
Hopefully we have a good weekend.
We have having people over for the BYU game tomorrow so that should be fun.

Oh we have a calling in our new ward We are Nursery Leaders, we have been in there for about a month now. Some days it can be pretty crazy but it is nice for Braxton to be able to play with the kids. I also got called to the relief society meeting committee... What's that?? well I don't know yet!

The weather here in San Antonio is finally cooling down. Today it was only 95 degrees. With some sprinkles of rain and clouds. It was sooo nice. I hope the weather continues to be nice. I couldn't handle this summer, it was too hot!

2 year anniversary

For our anniversary this year we stayed at hotel in San Antonio called the JW Marriott!

It is a huge htoel with a golf course and it's own water park.
I was in pillow Heaven when i saw how many pillows they had waiting for me!
This was just the lobby of the hotel. It was ridiculous!We did some swimming and floating on the lazy river
it must have worn Braxton out bcasue on the way to Red Robin for dinner this is what he looked like! I love his little face he was pulling!
Dinner was so good, neither of us had been to Red Robin in awhile I wish i would have got a picture of the dessert we had! The Mud Pie!!
After dinner we were pretty worn out so the boys just relaxed and watched some tv.

And of course Braxton got into everything! But he has such a cute face!
I am so grateful for my marriage and the wonderful family I have.
We are so excited for the rest of our future together,
and the new addition that will be here in December.
