Texas!!!

After 3 days, 30 hours, and 2000 miles...
We made it to texas!!!
Braxton was a happy camper for the most part,
he had a couple times where he just got mad. But i don't blame him
he was stuck in a chair with bags all around him.
We couldn't have asked him to be any better.
My mother in Law drove with me and thank goodness
she did. No way could i do it on my own.
Good thing we get along!!!
He was playing peek-a-boo!
We walked around the parade grounds with Aaron's mom, before she had to leave.
Braxton loves being with his dad again!
He is soooo happy everytime we see him!
My Happy Boys together again.
After my mother in law left on Monday we went to the park
with Braxton for the first time!
He loved the swing!!!
And we love that he is old enough to enjoy it.
With the weather being so nice I
guarantee we will be spending more time at the park,

He was trying to climb up the slide but his hands were too slippery so he couldn't do it, he was getting kinda mad but it was soooo cute to watch.
Glad the weather was so nice, he really enjoyed the park.

If you can see the little boy over there, Braxton couldn't stop staring at him, He is such a people watcher... he gets it from me. and he loves little kids!

Our cute boy! What a precious face!
He is starting to love bath time. I will just walk around the corner so I can keep an eye on him and hear him, and he just jabs away in there.
Already pulling his clothes out of the drawers and throwing them all over the floor.
He now says "oooohhhh" to everything,
His new ball, he loves to chase it around the room.
Riding the horses outside the BX!

Aaron has to stay in the dorms on the weekdays so we only get to see him
for a few hours a day right now.
Let's just say we spend a lot of time walking around the BX
looking at all the things we want to buy.
We have practiced a lot of self control... we haven't bought anything....
YET!
Mostly because we have nowhere to put it right now.
Braxton and I come to the base about an hour before we get to see Aaron so we can go for a walk.
When we do see Aaron walking towards us Braxton starts to get really excited
and kicks his feet. Oh I love that he gets so happy.

We miss our families but we are getting used to our life in Texas.
We are loving the warm weather
and the fact that we get to be together every day.
We are headed back to Idaho in about 6 weeks after Aaron graduates
to pack up a u-haul and bring all of our stuff down here.
I'm so excited to get it out of the storage unit, after it's been there for a year!
So this weekend we are going to look for houses and apartments so that we have somewhere to put our stuff when we get it here.

Aaron Graduated BMT!!!

On Wednesday we left for San Antonio!
This was the first time I had flown,
and Braxton's first time.
Here is our first plane ticket!
Braxton did really good, he was asleep when we took off, and when he woke up he just looked around. It was nice that he was a good flyer.
It made it easier for me.
We had a 30 minute time limit to change planes in Phoenix, so we were running around that airport and thats when Braxton threw up a little on my arm.
Other then that he did good there and back.
I got a little woozy but nothing too serious, just felt like a roller coaster
ride to me at some points. Our first plane.
I was so glad Mom came with me, it was nice to have the help
in the airport and on the airplane.
George came too!
Braxton was playing with Grandpa the night before we got to see Aaron.
Thursday Morning we woke up and got ready to go see Aaron,
it was freezing in Texas. So of course I packed well enough for Braxton but didn't bring my warm clothes, just a couple little sweaters! Oh well Braxton was all bundled and ready to
see his Dad.
We went to a briefing that just kind of told us what was going on.
Almost time.. geting anxious!
This was the first time I saw Aaron in 8 weeks.
When I saw him I turned to my mom and said
"Isn't he soooo handsome? I would marry him all over again!"
I really would.
He was standing in this line because he was an honor grad.
Onyl 9 guys out of 102 got honor grad.
I am sooo proud of him.

After the coin ceremony we got permission to go and get Aaron.
I went up and gave him a big hug and kiss and then Mom and George were trying to
find us while we were trying to find them, so they were
chasing us for a few seconds yelling at us. Here is when they first saw Aaron,

I didn't really take more pictures that day becasue I was too caught up
in the moment of seeing my husband that
I didn't think about it much,.
So on Friday we were supposed to be able to go pick Aaron up at 9
but it snowed like 1 inch and they shut down the freeway
and the roads were slick, it was just funny to see how they call it a snow day when they
get an inch of snow and we are used to that here.
Anyways we had to wait until 1 o'clock to see Aaron.
He got to show us where he had lived for the last 8 weeks.

His locker,
things were so particular and exact that even his hangers had to be spaced perfectly.
Braxton loved being with his dad again,
he thought everything he did was funny.
I haven't seen Braxton laugh sooo much in a long time.

We went to Breakfast on Saturday and got a 3 lb cinnamon roll.
It was really good but between the 4 of us and Braxton, we still didn't finish it all.
Braxton enjoys his table food!

We went to the river walk. it was pretty! It was
just really cold in the shade with all the wind.

The Alamo.

Huge cactus.

We went to the Wax Museum and
Ripley's believe it or not.
I felt like I was being sucked up in this tube.

Our little Superman.

What dwarf is Braxton?
Well at times he is all of them!

Worlds fattest man weighed 1700 lbs.

Worlds largest tire.

Together is our favorite place to be!!!

Our last day with Aaron :(
Walking around Sears.

Oh how I hate Goodbyes.
The bowling alley was right across the street from where
Aaron lived so we hung out there before Aaron had to go back.
It was full of men in blue because they couldn't leave base on Sunday.
Aaron could be cause he got honor grad.

Braxton was being Mr. Friendly to everyone that passed him.
I think it was hardest for Aaron to say goodbye to
him. He has grown so much in the past 2 months and Aaron hates missing out on that,
I can't even imagine being with Braxton for 2 months,
It's hard enough to be without Aaron.
Well we dropped Aaron off and got back to the hotel and
Braxton is just so much fun now, He laughs at everything and thinks he is soo funny.

So there have been a lot of questions of when I will get to see Aaron again, what his job is and so on.
Well here's the Update:
Aaron got his 2nd choice job of Contracting!
He is very excited.
For AIT school he stays in San Antonio.
School is 40 work days long, and he starts school on Valentine's Day.
We are trying to figure out the best living situation for Braxton and I.
Aaron can not live with us off base or anything,
if we move down there he would be able to see us everyday after school until he
had to be back at the dorm for bed.
He could stay with us on the weekends.
I do not want to be away from him for 8 more weeks.
We need our family to be together, this weekend was jsut a tease for us.
If we can get a furnished place that would be ideal, then i could just pack up our car with our clothes and drive down. The only problem we have is that i don't know anyone,
so i would have to find something to entertain me during the day.
When we know more about the living situation we will definitely keep you updated!
I guess if worst comes to worst and I can't move down there
I will probably fly down a few times for the weekend,
because when school is done.... We will be together.
Where you ask??
We don't know, Aaron got to fill out his wish list of places to live,
Overseas: Hawaii, Italy, and Germany,
Stateside: Mountain Home, Washington, OR Virginia.
We'll see.
That's the update for now.
