Too much pinterest

 

So late at night when I can't fall asleep becasue my mind won't shut off I end up looking at Pinterest.. which is no good becasue then I stay up even later.

Well I always pin a lot of ideas but noticed that I don't really ever do anything I pin.

So I started with my pantry!

It was a nice, easy, cheap project. I went to the dollar store and bough the baskets, and I just used my cricut to cut out the tags. I love having it organized! More things fit now too since everything is in baskets.

 

And tonight for dinner we are trying a penne pasta with sundried tomatos that I pinned!!

Garage Project

 

We only have a one car garage at our house, and we swore we would never be those people that have to much stuff out there to park in the garage, however while I was redoing the entertainment center I had to do it in the garage so for a few months we have been parking outside. Well Since that is done we decided it was time to put a couple shelves up and get things off the floor so we can park in there. We don't have too much stuff it's just a small space.

We also moved the treadmill out of our room finally and inot the garage so now thats my running spot (when i get to it). I love being able to park in the garage again. And we had fun working together while the kids played!

All about Colton

 

Colton is 13 months and almost walking.

He takes a few steps everyday but still thinks crawling is faster.

I was looking through pictures the other day and noticed i had a ton of pictures of Braxton when he was little doing funny things, probably becasue he was the only child and I had more time to think of theings like getting the camera out, so I have been trying to keep my camera handy to catch those funny moments with Colton.

Aaron got me an editing software for Christmas

and I have been having a blast with it. Here are a few pictures we took while we were in Austin one weekend at a park.



Colton's Birthday

Colton is 1!

 He got his first haircut on his birthday, he had a little curl above his left ear and in the back of his head, we'll have to see if they grow back.

 He didnt do much with the cupcake since we had just eaten dinner. But we had a great day. Thanks to skype we were able to share the day with some family.

Colton turned 1

 

On December 28th we celebrated Colton's 1st Birthday.

We had a wonderful 1st year with two boys in our house.

Colton is such a sweet kid.

I have felt very blessed to be his mother and be able to raise him and love him. He brings a sweet spirit into our home and makes us all smile on a daily basis.

Can't remember life without him.

Christmas

We were so blessed this year to have our first Christmas in our new home.

We enjoyed being able to decorate and set up  our tree.

My favortie thing this year was that Braxton was old enough to understand  "Santa"

so we went to see him, set out cookies for him and couldn't wait for him to come to our house.

  Santa was very good to the boys, they got a little trampoline, a new slide,

and lots of other toys and clothes.

 Colton didnt quite know what was going on but he loved playing with all the new toys.



Braxton loves his trampoline, he jumps on it all the time.

We had a very good Christmas with just our little family this year.
