Our Journey to Forever!

August 21, 2010We made it!
After a long year of learning and growing we made it happen!

We know have a greater love and understanding of the Atonement.
We know that without it this would not have been possible.
We know that the Savior loves us and this is his plan for us.
We know that the temple truly blesses our lives.

We know we took the long road to get here, but we had the opportunity that not many couples get. We got to be sealed to our little boy forever. I can not express in words the emotions I felt when I saw him in the temple. It is a feeling I can not explain. It was an experience I will never forget. He truly is from our Father in Heaven and I am grateful for the oportunity I have to be trusted by my Heavenly Father to take care of Braxton on this earth.

I just can't get enough of him!

We are so grateful for our Savior and the love he has for us. We feel it every day.

This is just the beginning of
Our Journey to Forever!

My Boy

Just because i love this pic of Braxton!

Labor Day Weekend

We left thursday for Bull Trout Lake. We have gone here with the Wagoner family for 3 years now. It has become a fun family tradition. I loved being able to have my own little family there this year. Of course it was cold so we had to have Braxton all bundled up!Braxton loved watching the fire. He would just stare at it.
And of course he wants to put anything and everything in his mouth now days so he was going for the good stuff.... the OREOS!

AND.... He got them!!!

He is almost sitting up on his own but this was so cute he sat in this little chair for a few minutes on his own before he started to tip over. I can't believe how fast he is growing!

Braxton would reach for the water bottles (in this case orange pop can) and try to put it in his mouth, when he finally realized there was nothing coming out of it and he couldn't get it in his mouth he would get mad. So we had to ban him from the water bottles.

Trying to stay warm by the fire.

OUr little cuddle bug!

The last night we were there Braxton did not sleep good. He was up 3 or 4 times and then finally at 5 he was awake and wanted to play when i would turn the light in the camper back off he would cry, so he cried and cried and cried and woke everyone up for a little whiel, Aaron headed outside and built a fire, we took Braxton out there wrapped him up and sat by the fire so everyone else could sleep. Braxton fell asleep while being all bundled up and slept for 3 hours out by the fire. Yes we sat out there for 3 hours and it was cold. Well we got bored and this is what happens when Aaron and Nicole get bored.....
HELLO DIRT MUSTACHE!

It was a fun trip and I 'm so glad we went.Braxton now has a cold, but
he is sleeping so much better. Back to his normal self. I love it

Our anniversary weekend

Our anniversary was yesterday on the 15th so this last weekend we decided to celebrate. We started by going to the Best Western in Meridian, just so we could be on our own for the night. Of course we took the little guy with us. He is the best thing about our first year together. We love our little Braxton.

This is our goofy family. Braxton is starting to grab anything within his reach so that is why he is pulling at Aaron's face.

There was a jacuzzi in our room. Soooooo nice. Dad and Brax tried it out first.

We were flipping through the hotel directory to see what was close that we could go eat and as soon as we saw the papa john's page we knew we had to get bbq based chicken pizza.. The bomb!! and cheesy bread.

Why stay in a hotel if you don't go swimming??? Braxtons first time in the big pool!!

Once he got in and started splashing he liked it. I think it still surprised him when he would splash himself i the face but it was sooo fun to watch him.

All done swimming, What a cute baby!

Braxton just watched cartoons while Aaron and I got cleaned up from swimming and ready for bed.

SO Saturday morning we woke up and went to Wahooz to play so mini golf and arcades. Braxton's new friend spider man.

Can i jsut say that i am getting better?! It was sooo much fun. We had a good time. I was hitting the ball while balanced on one foot.

Aaron giving it all he's got.

And to top it off. the cake topper!!! The fondant frosting was no bueno after a year but the cake was still good. and Braxton was actually smiling for the picture.

I bought Aaron a couple shirts and some bullets for his pistol.

He planned the weekend, so that was my gift oh and i think he is going to let me buy a printer so i can print all my coupons and pictures to scrapbook so i dont have to go to the store everytime i need new picture. We have had a great first year. We are sooo excited because we get to go to the temple on Saturday and be sealed! That is the best anniversary present ever!

Just because it's been awhile!

So not only did Braxton get my dimple in my chin but he also got my bad eyes. Sorry Son!
Just getting him ready for bed. which great news he still sleeps through the night I usually get between 6 and 7 hours a night before he wakes up and needs fed. Oh I love his little face.

That's right he has a mohawk with what little bit of hair that he does have. We try to make him cool.

He loves loves loves his swing. He is starting to figure out that he can bring things to his mouth with his hands so now he will spit out his pacifier and bring his blanket up to his mouth. He is getting so smart.

We love watching him grow and the new things he learns everyday. We are so blessed to have his sweet little spirit in our house.

4th of July

On Saturday July 3rd we went to the zoo. It was nice to get out and do something we haven't done in a long time. Braxton slept for a little while, and when he was awake he was so alert. It was so cute. I notice Aaron and I don't take very many pictures anymore because Braxton is the center of the camera most days so here we are!

Braxton just woke up from his litle nap. He was such a good baby. It will be even more fun when we can go and he can realize what is going on.

Aaron in the big turtle shell.

The lion was going to eat my head!!! aaahhhh

There was a little schoolhouse we went in to. Braxton is a big boy in the little world!

The Tiger! He was huge and coming right towards the window we were standing in.

Daddy and Brax looking at the Lions. There is one laying on the rock in the background if you look you can see it.

On Sunday the 4th we went to Brady and Shannon's house (Aaron's stepbrother) and all the boys were jumping with Aaron when they decided they wanted aaron to hold all of them. It was pretty funny to watch.

We took Erica and Tiff down to the Middleton Fireworks. Braxton stayed home with Grandma Foster and went to bed. It was such a fun weekend.
